CLEVELAND — Police continue to search for the driver who struck and killed a 5-year-old boy who was on his way to school.

Last month, Israel Thornton was walking with a family member to catch the bus at the corner of W. 37th Street and Denison Avenue when he was struck and killed.

Hit and Run Suspect's CarAlthough there is no suspect, investigators are focusing on the vehicle that drove off.

A camera on the school bus captured the suspect’s vehicle as it passed. The vehicle is a mid-sized, four-door SUV. Police have narrowed down the suspect’s car to three possible models: a Dodge Journey, a Kia Sorento and a Jeep 4×4 Laredo.

Anyone with information is asked to call Cleveland police.
