FLORIDA — Police in Florida have arrested a man who they say was impersonating an officer to get a discount on donuts.

According to FOX 13, Charles “Chuck” Barry showed employees a fake sheriff’s badge at a Dunkin Donuts in Pasco County. He also showed that he was carrying a holstered gun and on different occasions, told employees he was a U.S. Marshal and an Air Marshal.

Police say Barry received a discount on several occasions and became upset when employees denied him the discount once they felt he was abusing it.

Employees and the store manager reported him to police.

He’s charged with false impersonation of a law enforcement officer and improper exhibition of a firearm.
