MINNESOTA — The Cavaliers were run off the court in Minnesota on Wednesday night. The Timberwolves scored 38 1st quarter points against the Wine and Gold and cruised to a 124-95 victory.

Kevin Love led the Timberwolves with 33 points. Corey Brewer scored 27 points.

Cleveland is still winless on the road so far in the young campaign.

Coach Mike Brown ripped his team’s effort on the defensive end after the loss to Philadelphia last Friday night. The team came back and won in double overtime the next night.

On Wednesday night, the defense was lacking big time and it showed. If Mike Brown hadn’t shaved his head, he would have been ripping every hair out.

By the middle of the 3rd quarter, with the Timberwolves up by better than 30 points, many of the reserves found their way onto the court.

Kyrie Irving led the Cavs in scoring with 20 points.

The Cavs have Thursday off and then will host Charlotte on Friday night.
