CLEVELAND — Local residents with health care questions or seeking free health screenings can do so during Family Health Care Day on Saturday.

The city is holding the Affordable Care for a Healthy Cleveland event at the Public Auditorium on Saturday, November 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Dental screenings will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with glucose testing, blood pressure checks, sickle cell anemia testing, lead screening, HIV testing and flu shots available all day.

All services are available to all ages, and no requirements are necessary to attend the event or participate in a screening.

During the event, navigators and certified application counselors will also be there to discuss the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, with residents. Those opting to register with the Health Insurance Marketplace should bring income, family size, current doctor and insurance information and current health information to enroll.

The Public Auditorium is located at 500 Lakeside Avenue, and free parking will be available in the Willard garage.
