Woman Gets Ticket For Wearing Google Glass While Driving

A California woman received a first-of-its-kind ticket Tuesday night.

It wasn’t for texting and driving, but rather for wearing Google Glass while driving, according to

Cecilia Abadie received two violations. The first, for speeding, and the second violation reads “Driving with monitor visible to driver” (a.k.a Google Glass).

For the ticket to stand up in court, the officer must prove that she had the screen active when she was driving. She says it wasn’t.
