SOLON, Ohio – Nestle is moving 250 new jobs to Solon.

The company announced it’s relocating its frozen pizza division from Illinois to Solon.

The Nestle Pizza Division will join other Nestle USA businesses in Solon, which include Stouffers, Lean Cuisine, Hot Pockets, and Nestle Toll House.

The pizza division makes frozen products like Digiorno and California Pizza Kitchen.

“By moving Nestle Pizza to Ohio, we’ll bring together terrific brands and powerful businesses that will create many more talent development opportunities for our Nestle employees,” said Nestle USA Chairman & CEO Paul Grimwood.

The employees at the Illinois location were notified of the decision to move the business last week, and the majority of them will be offered the opportunity to relocate to Ohio.

Nestle employs more than 2,500 people in Ohio.
