CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Clinic is moving 700 jobs from Cleveland to Beachwood.

A clinic spokesperson has confirmed the move of its Information Technology Facility from Euclid Avenue to the former Bank of America headquarters just off Richmond Road.

It is the largest employer on the city’s northeast side in the Euclid Park Community.

The clinic’s “IT” facility is currently housed in the old Parker Hannifin Headquarters, built in 1919. A spokesperson said the building has had problems with flooding and power outages.

The clinic already owns five buildings that make up the former Bank of America headquarters on Science Park Drive in Beachwood. The move of 700 employees is expected to be completed by the end of 2014.
