OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio — Olmsted Falls High School is closed for the day after a bomb threat was found on the wall in a girls restroom Wednesday morning.

According to the Olmsted Township Police Department, the school was evacuated right after the threat was found at around 7:45 a.m.

Police say a student found the threat and reported it to school officials immediately. It read “Olmsted Falls, beware of me. I hid bombs in the school. Happy hunting.”

A fire alarm sounded, and students were taken via bus to the middle school where parents were permitted to pick up their children.

Authorities swept the inside and outside of the building, and nothing suspicious was found. Police did say it would be investigated as a criminal matter.

The high school is the only school closed for the day.

What I don’t understand is why they are sending the students to another school? More than likely it was a student that did this now the other schools may be put in jeopardy.

I go there. We were told it was just a drill, which made no sense because the PSAT’s were going on, they told us before the alarm went off, and we were sent to the stadium. Then they had us find our first period teachers, get on buses and go to the middle and intemediate schools where we were split by last name.
