Man Shot and Killed Over Card Game

CLEVELAND- Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened on the city’s east side.

Police were called to 728 East 92nd Street around 2:30 Saturday morning. When they arrived, police found a man in his 40s with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the preliminary investigation reveals that the victim, suspect and several other people were playing a card game at that location.

Investigators said during the card game the suspect became upset, took out a handgun and fired multiple shots, hitting the victim in the chest.

After the shooting, the suspect ran off.
