Florida Man Arrested with Gun at Hopkins Airport

CLEVELAND —  A man was arrested Sunday morning with a gun in his carry-on, according to Cleveland police.

Officials say around 7:20 a.m., a 74-year-old Florida man was going through a security checkpoint x-ray machine when a handgun was found in his carry-on luggage.

The man was arrested and taken to the Division’s Central Prison Unit, where he is awaiting charges, according to police.

No other information was released.

    Actually Don, I have my CCW – I am just tired of the NRA stance that everyone regardless of criminal background or mental health issues be able to own any quantity of firearms and ammunition
