From 8:00 p.m. Friday to 10:00 a.m. Saturday, crews closed I-90 east between I-490 and I-77. Drivers were encouraged to use I-490 east to I-77 north to reach downtown.

That stretch of road has since been reopened, but it is reduced to two lanes. Drivers who need to reach Midtown destinations will need to use E. 22nd Street and Carnegie.

The closures are in addition to those put in place Thursday evening.
