Stacey Frey Browns GameCLEVELAND — FOX 8’s Stacey Frey was part of a special breast cancer awareness celebration on the FirstEnergy Stadium field before Thursday’s nationally televised game.

Stacey was nominated to be part of the pre-game ceremony in which breast cancer survivors were recognized. She was joined by her husband, John and son, Aiden.

Stacey and 80 fellow breast cancer survivors unfurled a giant pink ribbon in honor of breast cancer awareness month.

Stacey underwent a mastectomy after announcing last October that she had breast cancer.

The events supported the American Cancer Society and the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer initiative as part of  ‘A CRUCIAL CATCH,’ the NFL’s and Cleveland Browns’ campaign.
