My Town: Lake Humane Society’s Annual Black Cat Ball

LAKE COUNTY, Ohio — The Lake Humane Society & Adoption Center is hosting its annual ball to benefit abused, neglected and homeless animals in Lake County.

The Annual Black Cat Ball will be held Saturday, October 26, at the LaMalfa Centre in Mentor, and doors open at 6 p.m.

Tickets to the ball are $70 per person and include a dinner buffet, open bar and a raffle entry to win a 2013 Mini Cooper. Attendees will also get a chance to win a $1,500 grand prize.

The event will feature live music and entertainment, costume contests and their annual silent auction.
