Study Finds When Married Couples are Happiest
“Wedded bliss” seems to hit its peak in the third year of marriage.
That’s according to the Huffington post citing a study by U.K. law firm Slater & Gordon.
Two thousand people were polled so researchers could learn about the progression of happiness in the relationship.
The first year of marriage had “post-wedding happiness,” then couples spent time getting to know each other in the second year.
The third year was determined to be when couples are happiest in their marriage.
After that, they faced more challenges such as more demands at work, tiredness and children.
