Buckeyes Beat First Big Ten Opponent

COLUMBUS — The Ohio State Buckeyes ran their record to 5-0 (1-0 in Big Ten play) after holding off Wisconsin 31-24 on Saturday night.

The Buckeyes had a 24-14 lead at the half and were outscored 10-7 in the second half by Wisconsin.

Quarterback Braxton Miller returned to the Ohio State line-up after a knee injury.  He was 17 of 25 for 198 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Wisconsin outgained Ohio State 399 to 390 in total yards but the Buckeyes were able to capitalize in key situations.

The Buckeyes continue their Big Ten season next Saturday at Northwestern.

Kickoff is set for 8 p.m.
