Should There Be a Mercy Rule for College Football?
Ohio State was one of several college football teams that obliterated its opponent this weekend.
The Buckeyes trounced Florida A & M 76-0.
Louisville also had an impressive 72-0 win over Florida International and Miami racked up a 77-7 win against Savannah State.
The latter games were shortened in ways not typical for college football.
During Louisville’s win, the clock was allowed to run continuously at times.
For Miami’s, the fourth quarter was shortened by three minutes.
