Pricey Audio Equipment Stolen from Church

ELYRIA, Ohio — A church in Elyria reported some $2,000 in audio equipment had been stolen over the weekend.

According to a police report, someone broke into the Liberty Baptist Church on Lake Avenue sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Officers determined the suspect or suspects entered through an upstairs window.

Among the items taken were several microphones, a PA system and a video camera.

Some cabinets had also been forced open but nothing appeared to be missing from them.

At the time of this report there were no suspects.
