Woman Trades $2K Purse for Spot in iPhone Line

CHARLESTON, SC — All across the country, thousands made sacrifices to get the new iPhone Friday. Many skipped work, slept outside and waited in long lines, but one woman made an astonishing trade to get a better spot!

Lisa Hoffman was fifth in line at the Apple Store when she heard that supplies were limited, according to WCSC.

The New Jersey native immediately went into bargaining mode with the two girls in front of her. She traded her $2,000 Louis Vuitton bag for a better spot in line.

When Hoffman stepped up to get her phone, she started crying. She said her bag was more than a fair trade to be one of the top 3 in line.
