Two Arrested after Shooting Outside Bar

CLEVELAND — Two people are awaiting charges after a shooting outside a west side bar early Sunday morning.

According to authorities, the incident started with a physical altercation inside the Life Tavern on Lorain Avenue. After leaving the bar, an argument ensued between the victim and suspect. Police say the suspect asked a female to hand him his gun, which she retrieved from her purse and handed to him. The man shot the victim multiple times in his neck and lip.

The suspects left the scene; the victim was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he was treated and released.

Police searched the area and located both the male and female. They were taken into custody and are awaiting charges.

The incident is under investigation.
