COLUMBUS – Some Ohio State University students thought a locked door in the basement of their rented home led to a utility closet, but they became suspicious when they started to hear noises.

When a maintenance worker helped them open it, they found quite a surprise.

According to OSU student newspaper The Lantern, a furnished bedroom was inside, equipped with framed pictures and textbooks.

There was apparently a stranger living in the house.

The locks were changed and the stranger moved out, The Lantern reported.
