Two suspects are in custody in connection to the abduction of Ayvani Perez, the 14-year-old girl who was found alive Wednesday after being kidnapped early Tuesday from her home in an Atlanta suburb, Clayton County Police Chief Gregory Porter said.

She was found in Conyers, Georgia, is in “good health,” and has been taken back to her family, he said.

Ayvani Hope Perez had been missing since early Tuesday morning.

Police say two armed men had pried open the family’s back door around 2:15 a.m. ET.

The FBI released sketches of the suspects, described as black men who were wearing dark clothing.

Perez’s mother told investigators she tried to hide her two children but the gunman found them and demanded money and jewelry.

Police say the two men shot the family dog — who survived — and abducted Ayvani after the family failed to meet their demands.
