CANTON, Ohio-- An arrest was made Wednesday in the death of a Canton man, who was a war veteran.

The arrest came six years after his murder.

At nine Wednesday morning, authorities executed an arrest warrant on Prospect Ave. in connection with the 2007 homicide of Bennie Angelo, 87.

Detectives arrested Chester Ray Crank, 33, and charged him with aggravated murder and aggravated burglary. Additional charges could follow.

Police said they first responded to Angelo's Endrow Ave. home on January 7, 2007 after the Canton Fire Department found a gunshot wound on Angelo's body during a fire at the home.

Investigators believe the fire was intentionally set to hide the crime.
