CLEVELAND — The Shearer Equipment Friday Night Touchdown Game of the Week #4 was HUDSON (3-0)  at  BRUNSWICK (2-1).

The Explorers jumped out to a 12-0 lead in the second quarter Friday, before severe weather moved into the area and the officials suspended the game until Saturday afternoon.

The stoppage appeared to help Blue Devils, who regrouped and looked good early in the second half, until Hudson Sr. QB Mitchell Guadagni hit his favorite target, WR Reid Robinson, who broke a tackle and raced to the end zone, extending the Explorers lead to 19-0.

Brunswick’s Richie Norman scored twice to make it a 22-13 game, but the Blue Devils could not generate enough offense against the Explorers’ terrific defense.

With the win, Hudson improves to 4-0.  The Explorers, ranked 7th in the first Division I AP Poll return home in Week #5 to face Cuyahoga Falls (1-3).

Brunswick (2-2) should get healthy in a hurry. The Blue Devils hit the road to battle winless Normandy (0-4) at Byers Field.
