Baggy Pants Stop Church Robbery Suspect
ORLANDO — A Florida church robbery suspect was stopped by his baggy pants during his getaway.
According to Reuters, Anthony Jason Garcia, 31, was praying in the sanctuary of a church when he got up, walked into the gift shop, took the cash drawer and ran off.
The church maintenance director took off after the suspect.
As they ran, Garcia’s baggy pants started to fall. When the church maintenance director plunged for him, he pulled his pants down further, tripping the suspect.
The church maintenance director was able to hold the suspect until deputies arrived.
