CLEVELAND — The tailgating got started early at FirstEnergy Stadium Saturday night.

Browns fans gathered for a pre-game party as part of this week’s “Paint the Town Browns” activities.

The bash included appearances by Jim Brown and Browns owner Jimmy Haslam. Several players also signed autographs.

Fans told FOX 8 they are ready for the season and expect big things from the team.

“I think they’re pumped up. I think the season is going to be great and they’re ready for some wins. I think it’s an overall good feeling,” said Browns fan, Lesley Swope.

“I think the Browns are going to do well overall, and I think they’ll have a good season overall,” said Ethan Lee, as he was tackled by the Browns mascot.

The party also included a DJ, raffle and a peek at the new “We Are Cleveland” Browns Express Bus.
