Warning Shot Fired During Bank Robbery

RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Ohio – One shot was fired during a bank robbery in Richmond Heights Thursday, the FBI confirmed.

According to the Cleveland FBI, the robbery happened around 11:35 a.m. at the Huntington Bank in the 5200 block of Wilson Mills Road.

Authorities say two men entered the bank, both with bandannas covering their faces. One man approached the teller counter with a gun while the other man stayed at the doorway of the bank.

One shot was fired during the bank robbery. No one was hit by the round and no one was injured.

Both suspects fled the bank on foot down Wilson Mills Road.
