BEREA, OH — Browns coach Rob Chudzinski said Friday that starting guard Shawn Lauvao will miss some regular season games and will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his injured ankle.

Lauvao suffered the injury in Monday’s practice.

Chudzinski would not elaborate on how much time the Browns expect Lauvao to be out.

Jason Pinkston will most likely start the season in place of Lauvao, who has made 32 consecutive starts and did not miss a snap in 2012.
