Jennifer Aniston – Pasta Carbonara

  • 1 lb gluten free pasta (penne)
  •  4 eggs room temperature
  • ¼ c. cream
  • 1 c. grated parmesan or Romano cheese (or combination)
  • 2 tbs fresh chopped parsley
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • ½ lb chopped turkey bacon
  • fresh cracked black pepper
  • grated cheese for garnish


Boil a large pot of water. Add 2 tsp of salt, and start cooking pasta according package instructions.

Add olive oil and turkey bacon to a large sauté pan and start cooking over medium high heat.

While pasta and turkey bacon cook, whisk eggs, cream, cheese and parsley together in a medium bowl.

As bacon begins to color and crisp just a bit, turn down to low.

When pasta is ready, save 1 cup of the pasta water. Drain the rest and add pasta to bacon sauté pan. Remove pan from heat and gently mix and fold egg mixture with pasta until pasta is covered. You don’t want the eggs to scramble. They will form a creamy sauce.  If the sauce feels a little too thick, thin it with a few tbs of the pasta water.

Top with fresh, cracked black pepper and serve.
