Four Teens Found with Alleged Stolen Goods

STREETSBORO, Ohio — Four teenagers were arrested and charged with receiving stolen property after police said they recovered about $1,760 worth of goods.

The Streetsboro Police Department was alerted to suspicious activity around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

A caller on Dunlap Drive reported two people in his driveway.  A Kendall Lane resident called to tell officers an unknown vehicle was parked in his.

When the police arrived, they found four people attempting to hide inside the car plus GPS units and other electronics linked to recent thefts.

Timothy Porter, 18, of Streetsboro, was among those arrested and charged, along with two 17-year-olds and a 15-year-old.

The Streetsboro Police Department reminded residents to avoid leaving valuables inside their vehicles and to remember to lock them as well.
