CLEVELAND — In an event that challenges the body, renews the spirit and gives hope to those fighting breast cancer, hundreds of people completed the Susan G. Komen 3-Day in Cleveland this weekend.

The event will not return in 2014 due to declining participation.

“The incredible commitment of the 3-Day® walkers has helped Susan G. Komen® reach millions of people with life-saving breast cancer information,” Sheri Phillips, Susan G. Komen 3-Day national spokesperson. “Every step taken and every dollar raised in Cleveland has truly made a difference in the fight to end breast cancer.”

Cleveland’s 3-Day raised more than $16 million since 2007.
