MENTOR, Ohio -- The theme is "Walk a Mile, Save a Life."

Next week is the 19th annual Lake Humane Society Mutt Strut, meant to raise money for homeless animals.

It includes everything from a one-mile walk and canine games to auctions and a Project Ruffway runway show.

It will take place Aug. 10. Registration begins at 9 a.m., and the walk begins at 10 a.m. at the Mentor Municipal Center.
