Family of Murder Victim Issues Statement
EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio — The family of East Cleveland murder victim Angela Deskins released a statement late Monday night.
“Angela Deskins was a beautiful, sweet, kind hearted woman,” Catana Deskins wrote in a statement emailed to Fox 8. “She was raised in Novelty, Ohio by her father Robert Deskins and her step-mother Linda Deskins. Everyone who knew her loved her. She was a wonderful daughter, sister and aunt who truly cared about her family and friends. She is loved so much and will be missed by everyone who knew here. Our family would appreciate privacy during this time.”
Deskins, 38, of Cleveland, was identified as one of the victims Monday. Deskins was the second of three bodies discovered. So far, Deskins is the only victim to be identified.
Michael Madison is facing charges of aggravated murder and kidnapping. On Monday he waived his right to a preliminary hearing and his bond was set at $6 million.
