CLEVELAND — A free produce giveaway in Cleveland is BYOB, meaning bring your own bag.  That’s all you need to fill up on healthy food!

The event will help those in need on Friday, July 19 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland’s West Park Corps.

That’s located at 12645 Lorain Avenue.

The produce giveaway is part of the Cleveland Food Bank’s mobile pantry program.

“We are feeding hungry bellies in our community daily but we also feed the spirits of the downtrodden with the word of Jesus Christ. In all that we do, The Salvation Army looks to nourish the whole person; body, mind, and spirit,” Captain J.R. Fritsch said.

The Salvation Army will distribute up to 20,000 pounds of food during the event.
