Browns Sign Armonty Bryant

CLEVELAND– The Cleveland Browns announced on Friday that the team has signed Armonty Bryant to a four-year contract.

The defensive lineman was drafted in the seventh round.

The Browns said Bryant, 23, spent one year at Cisco Junior College in Texas before spending his final three seasons at East Central University.

He appeared in 30 career games at ECU and registered 165 tackles, 27.5 sacks, nine forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and one interception, and blocked nine kicks.

The 6’4″, 265-lb Bryant is a native of Wichita Falls, Texas.

The contract for the Browns first round pick in the draft, Barkevious Mingo, has not yet been agreed upon.
