Crews Battle House Fire in Euclid

EUCLID, OH — Fire crews spent Sunday afternoon battling a blaze in Euclid.

The call came in a little after 12:00 p.m. on E. 222nd Street near St. Clair Avenue.

The fire did serious damaged to the upper level, with flames and smoke shooting out of the second story windows.

Fire officials said the home is habitable, but no one was home at the time.

Firefighters were able to contain the flames before they could spread to nearby homes.

The cause is under investigation.
