They’ve begun transitioning from shelter operations to helping people with recovery and cleanup, including in Barberton, Mineral City and parts of Trumbull County.
In Summit County, the shelter located at 501 West Market Street in Akron will remain on standby through Saturday afternoon.
The Barberton YMCA will remain open through at least Saturday; mobile feeding and the distribution of cleanup kits will also continue there through at least Saturday.
In Tuscarawas County, mobile feeding and cleanup kit distribution will continue through the weekend for Mineral City residents.
In Trumbull County, mobile feeding and cleanup kit distribution will continue for those most in need through at least Saturday.
