Don’t let bug bites ruin your summer! Do you know the difference between a normal bug bite and an allergic reaction? Dr. Sandra Hong from The Cleveland Clinic was here to explain the difference.
About two million Americans are allergic to the venom of stinging insects. While it’s important to remember that most people aren’t allergic to stings, many of those who are, are at risk for life-threatening allergic reactions. Approximately 50 deaths each year in the US are attributed to allergic reactions to insect stings.
Symptoms can include difficulty breathing, hives which appear as a red, itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or mouth, wheezing or difficulty swelling and rapid pulse.

Mad Tex has two locations – Natalie visited the one in the Beach Cliff Shopping Center in Rocky River. The second location is on Rockside Road in Independence.
Our dessert was Indian-inspired! Executive Chef of Provenance, Matt Jankowski, fried us up some “Jalebi Dessert!”
Starting Wednesday, July 10th, a prix fixe menu will be available through September 3rd. There is a lunch version as well that is a selection of an entree and dessert for $22.

Lion King: Music
Disney’s The Lion King is returning to Playhouse Square this summer! To get you excited about the upcoming musical, Natalie traveled to Nashville where they are currently performing to catch up with the cast and crew – including a behind the scenes look at how they create the music!
The Lion King will be at the State Theatre July 9 through August 4, 2013.
