3 Shot While Waiting in Line at Party

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Three people were shot while they were in line outside of an East Side bar Saturday night.

According to Cleveland police, it happened at about 10:30 p.m. outside Miss Martha’s Bar, 2871 E. 116th St.

Three males told police they were in line to purchase admission to a party when they were approached by two men. They said one produced a handgun, and the two suspects robbed the victims of money and a cell phone.

They then fired several shots at the victims before fleeing east through the lot toward East 117th Street. A 25-year-old victim was shot in the back of the right knee, a 26-year-old victim was shot in the left arm, and a 33-year-old victim was shot in the lower right leg.

All three victims were taken to University Hospitals in a private car. One of the victims drove the three there in his vehicle.
