Shane French appears in court on 7/6/13

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The radio host of “Rover’s Morning Glory” appeared in court Saturday to face charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, fireworks and assault.

Shane French, 37, also known as Rover, was arrested at 4900 Whiskey Island Drive around 3:40 a.m. Friday.

He is accused of shooting fireworks in the direction of a boater, nearly hitting him. The

boater turned out to be an off-duty Cleveland police officer. Rover is also accused of arguing with the officer even after he identified himself and of shoving the off-duty officer.

In court Saturday, Rover was released on $5,000 personal bond.
