CLEVELAND — The Horseshoe Casino Cleveland will announce a promotion that will “change the lives of several lucky Clevelanders” and plans to do so during a day-long festival that concludes with a Celebrity Wiffle Ball game.

The Cleveland Division of Police warned that means downtown traffic.

No parking will be permitted on the south side of Prospect Avenue between Ontario and East 14th streets from 6 p.m. Friday until 3 a.m. Saturday.

Horseshoe’s grand announcement will be made around 5:15 p.m. on Public Square in front of the casino entrance.

The event includes live musical entertainment and is free for those 21 and older.  Food and beer will be available for purchase.

Extra! host Mario Lopez and several Cleveland sports legends will participate in the wiffle ball game.

Few details about the announcement were revealed, only that it is Horseshoe’s “biggest promotion yet.”

Remember to plan downtown trips accordingly as other events, such as the Dollar Dog/Fireworks Night at Progressive Field, will only add to the traffic volume.
