CLEVELAND – The radio host of Rover’s Morning Glory was arrested Friday for aggravated disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, fireworks and assault.

According to the Cleveland Division of Police, Shane French, 37, also known as Rover, was arrested at 4900 Whiskey Island Drive around 3:40 a.m.

According to the police report, French and another man started “shooting the fireworks in the direction [of a boater]…nearly hitting him.”

That boater turned out to be an off-duty Cleveland police officer.

The report goes on to say that French continued to argue with the officer even after he identified himself and showed his badge.

French is also accused of shoving the off-duty officer.

He was taken to the Central Prison Unit to await charges.
