Laws rewritten in Washington state in order to replace gender biased language go into effect his week.

According to the Daily Mail, a ‘freshman’ is now a ‘first year student,’ a ‘fisherman’ is just a ‘fisher,’ and a ‘journeyman plumber’ is now a ‘journey-level plumber.’
