PARMA, Ohio — At least four water main breaks were being addressed on Monday morning, prompting the closure of a few roads.

In Parma, Broadview Road was closed between Grantwood and Roanoke drives.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area.

It was unknown how many water customers were affected.

In the Orange Village/Solon area, Miles Road was closed between Harper and Brainard roads for the break there.

The Orange Village website offered this detour:  “The Villas of Orange can be accessed from Brainard heading east on Miles. Orange Hills Estates and Stonebrooke may be accessed from Lander and Harper Roads heading west.”

Residents may experience low water pressure.

At the time of this report, neither area had issued a boil alert.

Fox 8 Traffic Reporter Patty Harken also mentioned restrictions in Independence and Westlake due to water main breaks.

Brecksville Road in Independence was down to one lane in either direction between Pleasant Valley and Hillside.

Along Center Ridge west of Dover in Westlake, the eastbound lanes were closed but traffic was sharing the westbound direction.
