BRIMFIELD TWP, Ohio — A large college party Friday night in Portage County has landed 18 individuals behind bars, facing charges.

Brimfield Township police confirm to Fox 8 News that the dozen and a half people face a variety of charges.

Police were called to a home along Lightning Lane in Kent just after 11:00 p.m. for a noise complaint.  Authorities witnessed individuals running from the home and eluding police.

According to the Brimfield Township police Facebook page, “When we arrived, the intoxicated people in attendance were so awe-struck by seeing famous officers, they began to run away.  It looked like a cartoon.  After the dust settled and all of the drunken 100 yard dash participants were rounded up”.

Kent Police assisted in the arrests and transported the suspects to the police department.
