Library Worker Accused of Stealing 350k

CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH– A Summit County library worker faced a judge on Monday, accused of embezzling nearly $350,000 while working as the Fiscal Officer for the Cuyahoga Falls system.
Cuyahoga Falls Police Chief Tom Pozza tells Fox 8 News that 54-year old Theresa Karm, turned herself into authorities on Monday.
Pozza said the three-month investigation into the scheme dated back to 2007, but declined to explain how the operation took place.
Karm was arraigned at Stow Municipal Court on one count of felony theft and one count of theft in office. She was released following the hearing after posting bond. A pretrial court date has not been set.
