Fox 8 Kenny Crumpton Arrested Friday, June 21st, for OVI in Lakewood.

LAKEWOOD, Ohio — Fox 8’s Kenny Crumpton was expected to plead not guilty to an OVI charge, his lawyers confirmed.

Crumpton was arrested Friday after getting pulled over on Orchard Grove Avenue in Lakewood around 10:30 p.m.

A court date was set for Monday at 9 a.m. in Lakewood Municipal Court.

“At this time Mr. Crumpton will be entering a plea of not guilty. We ask your patience as the judicial process runs its course,” said Ann Oakar and Joe George, Crumpton’s attorneys, in a statement.

Crumpton hosts the popular ‘Kickin’ it with Kenny’ segment on Fox 8 News in the Morning, during which he showcases local businesses and events.
