Y.O.L.O. Salad: Lemon Vinaigrette
Recipe from Scott Ita, Battery Park Wine Bar in Cleveland.
- 2 cups of Lemon Juice
- 1 1/2 cups Olivia Oil
- 1/2 Tbsp. Parsley
- Salt and Pepper
- 1/2 or 1 Tbsp. Garlic
- 1/2 Tbsp.Orange Zest
1. Combine lemon juice, olive oil, parsley, pepper, salt, garlic, and orange zest in small mixing bowl.
2. Whisk the vinaigrette vigorously.
Y.O.L.O. Salad: Candied Pecans/ Walnuts
- Pecans/ Walnuts
- Brown Sugar
- Heat nuts in a sauce pan, but do not scorch
- Add water, enough for a quick boil
- Add brown sugar and sugar blend
- Coat nuts in the mixture
- Separate nuts and let them cool
- Remove when cooled
