LAVERTON, Australia (CNN/Seven Network) -- A drunk driver crashed into a restaurant, hitting people he'd sat next to moments before.
The restaurant was getting ready to close and a table of diners were preparing to leave when it happened.
The driver lost control of his bread van and crashed through the shop-front, knocking the patrons off their chairs and pinning some against a wall.
Three of them suffered only minor injuries.
Earlier, the driver had been eating just a few tables away from those he hit. Police said the 57-year-old, who wasn't injured, had an alcohol limit almost four times the legal limit.
