Serena Williams Comments on Steubenville Rape Case

Serena Williams commented on the Steubenville rape case in a recent interview with Rolling Stone.

Two high school football players were found guilty in March of raping a 16-year-old girl at a summer party.

When the case came on TV during the interview, the tennis star commented, “I’m not blaming the girl, but if you’re a 16-year-old and you’re drunk like that, your parents should teach you: Don’t take drinks from other people.” Williams went on to say, “…she shouldn’t have put herself in that position, unless they slipped her something, then that’s different.”
