WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — One man was killed Saturday in a deadly motorcycle accident in Holmes County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened just before 8:00 p.m. on S.R. 3 between County Road 385 and County Road 22, north of Loudonville.

Authorities say Jeremy Burkepile, 35 of Perrysville, was heading southwest on State
Route 3 on his motorcycle when he entered a curve and drifted off the left side of the road.

The motorcycle struck a ditch and overturned.

Burkepile was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was not wearing a helmet.

Authorities are still investigating. This is the third fatal crash in Holmes County this year.
